As of September 2006, Accor has opened The Novotel Suvarnabhumi Airport Hotel which offers the nearest and most luxurious of airport hotel accommodations. Currently a private 24-hr shuttle transports guests every 10 mins. to-and-from the airport (from airport -go to Arrivals, Level 2, Gate 4). In 2008 a walkway should be completed allowing guests direct access to the terminal via a 10-min walk. The 5-story hotel features wireless internet throughout its 612 rooms, 4 restaurants (Sala Thai, Golden Village Chinese Restaurant, Kinsen Japanese Restaurant and The Square), 2 bars, swimming pool/fitness center/spa area, 6 meeting rooms, 800-person conference room, and business center. Families will enjoy connecting rooms while business travelers may prefer the Executive Rooms.
