Several famous temples in Thailand include:
  • Phra Kaeo Temple or Temple of the Emerald Buddha in Bangkok
  • Erawan Temple in Thailand often called The Temple of Dawn in Bangkok
  • Mahathat Temple can be found in the city of Nakon Si Thammarat  on the South Peninsula  
  • Wat Phra Pathom Chedi Temple which is one of the largest pagodas in the world
  • Yai Chai  Mongkon Temple is situated in the town of Phitsamulak
